Kapa Haka

Kapa Haka at Te Aitarakihi
Fostering a sense of unity and belonging

Are you looking for a place to connect, move, and celebrate Māori Culture?

Come along to our Kapa Haka sessions at Te Aitarakihi Marae-ā-Iwi.  We meet every Monday during the school term, from 5.30 to 7.00pm. Everyone is welcome, whether you’re just starting out or have been performing for years.

We learn and practice waiata, haka, poi and more, all guided by experienced tutors who are passionate about sharing our traditions. It’s not just about performance, it’s about being together, learning together, and keeping our culture alive.

Bring your tamariki, moko, your cuzzies, your mates – join our whānau.

Nau mai, haere mai – we’d love to see you there.

Check out our Facebook page – ‘Te Aitarakihi Kapahaka General Page’ for updates.
